3 teras dont un tera de ssd m2. encore deux emplacements de disque libre.core i7. 16gigots de RAM. carte graphique NVIDIA GTX660ti. #Ubuntu dessus. le tout pour 1300€ au lieu de 2400 à l'achat.

DigitalOcean is already considered mid-range in terms of pricing.
For $10 they give you :
- 2GB RAM
- 1 CPU core
- 50GB SSD space.
The nearest equivalent from Google is probably their g1-small. Which costs about $14 to run each month, along with $8.50 for the SSD disk:
- 1.70 GB RAM
- 1 CPU core
- 50GB SSD space.
So now we've got $10 vs. $22. More expensive, but certainly many people would consider it a worthwhile investment for a solid infrastructure and the flexibility that comes with a Cloud.
But hold on. I forgot something. The bandwidth.
Digitalocean includes 2TB of bandwidth with their $10 VPS. Google includes none. Okay then, let's be nice and assume you only use 1/2 the included bandwidth. So that's 1TB.
Now let's add 1TB of Google Cloud bandwidth costs (from the US, one of their cheapest locations). Then we're looking at:
DigitalOcean: $10
Google Cloud: ~$145
